If you enjoy movies, this Film Festival is for you. The films selected for showing were chosen by a jury of everyday folks, just like you, who love a good story – not highbrow film critics. Film Festivals are a place where you get to watch films, share your opinions, listen to the filmmakers talk about their work, ask questions, and experience true community.
The selected films are intriguing, mysterious, funny, insightful, challenging, motivating, alarming, inspiring and more.
About half of the films are from the United States. The rest are from 18 different countries, such as Australia, Croatia, France, Greece, India, Israel, Korea, Spain, UK, and others.
They were submitted in one of seven categories: Adventure-Drama-Mystery, Animation, Documentary, Narrative, Pacific Northwest, Sci-Fi, and Spirituality.
No films in the horror genre or films with gratuitous violence are included. Please note: none of the films have MPAA ratings (i.e. PG, PG-13, R). So, parents with minor children, please use discretion.
There will be a fly-in of private planes. Hotel rooms are selling fast so get your lodging reservation in early.

TICKETS
Tickets are on sale now. Tickets are available for 2-hour blocks (watch 1-13 films) for $8, 1-day Pass for $22, 2-day Pass for $39, and 3-Day Pass for $49. Please be aware there is limited seating so the Film Festival could sell-out without warning.
VENUES
The Film Festival is in the downtown national historic district in the small town of Cottage Grove. All film showing venues are within walking distance of one other. We encourage you for fun to bring your bike and explore the town.

FILMMAKERS
A $3,000 GRAND PRIZE and TROPHY will be given to the winner of the “Festival Best Film”.
The winning film in each category will receive a “Category Best Film” trophy, which may also qualify them as “Festival Best Film Nominee”.
All films selected to be shown at the Festival will receive an “Official Selection” certificate to recognize their screening at the Festival.
Filmmakers attending the Festival, whose film will be screened, are invited to attend the Filmmakers Reception. The invitation-only, media event will be hosted Thursday evening, August 16 where the winners will be announced. Please RSVP if you plan to attend. It will be great to meet you in-person.
